Sponderwrks Children's Services was created by David Sponder and his wife Michele Sponder. Sponderwrks came into existence with two goals in mind which was to help children overcome developmental delays and helping parents better manage and cope with their child's special needs.

The primary mission of Sponderwrks is to use a prescriptive approach in treating special needs children. Often times, similar companies will create therapeutic templates which they will subscribe to a child. The danger with this approach is that this child may also benefit from other types of therapies but may not necessarily receive them because they are only allowed one type of therapy.
